Seven Tech Deck Detour Submission Honorable Mentions

Last week, Dew Tour linked up with Tech Deck to bring you a stay-at-home fingerboard competition to showcase your skills and win some serious prizes. Starting on April 15th, contestants had one full day to submit their video on Instagram using #TECHDECKDETOUR, and as you can imagine, they came in by the hundreds. Although only 16 of the best videos would make it to the head-to-head bracket, there were plenty of entries that didn’t quite make it, but deserve another watch. Here are seven #TECHDECKDETOUR honorable mentions that were submitted that we’d like to highlight.

Didn’t film the end well, but it took me 2 hours :/ second and third are filmed better, but the nollie 3 shuv was sketchy in the 2nd and I didn’t land the treflip in the 3rd. My entry for @techdeck ‘s #techdeckdetour contest. Noseblunt slide, 360 flip, boardslide to malto manual shit and a 720 flip? to finish the line! Took me a lot longer than I wanted but it was a fun challenge and I hope @techdeck @dewtour @toreypudwill and @tjrogers go easy on me! I used one of my first ever techdeck boards I won in a contest a loooooong time ago on @techdecks OG website, a Kareem Campbell City Stars deck! My makeshift park consisted of a crep protect tin, a 2017 bourbon county stout bottle box held up by my wallet a bounce box held up by coasters and ketchup packets and a bottle of 70% isopropyl alcohol 😂 shout out to Arizona ice tea @3rdeyeclutch and @daewon1song for the inspiration!
