Where is Dew Tour taking place?

The 2022 Summer Dew Tour will be hosted at Lauridsen Skatepark (901 2nd Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50309), located in downtown Des Moines at the Principal Riverwalk’s northern edge. It is an 88,000 square foot, Olympic-grade skatepark built by our friends and partners at California Skateparks!
The entrance to Dew Tour is located off 2nd Avenue and Crocker Street.

Where can I buy VIP tickets?

You can browse our different VIP packages and purchase here. VIP passes must be pre-purchased and cannot be purchased onsite at Dew Tour.

What’s the deal with the Dew Tour app?

The app is your portal to all things Dew Tour, especially if you plan to attend the event. Download for the latest contest updates here.

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes! Dew Tour will have local Des Moines food truck offerings and a cash bar for the public. We will also have a refillable water station, so we encourage everyone to bring a refillable water bottle. Food carried in backpacks or small bags may be brought into the event. Factory-sealed drinks may also be brought in. Glass containers of any kind are not allowed. Coolers are not allowed.

Where can I drop spectators off?

The primary drop-off and pick up area for all vehicles (including ride shares and ADA) is 3rd and Center Street. A secondary location that more level for wheelchair access is located @ 3rd and Park Street.

How do I get to Dew Tour?

How do I view the competition from home?

Where can I buy merchandise?

There will be merchandise available on site, but Dew Tour merchandise is also available for purchase in the Dew Tour Store.

Is there ADA Viewing?

Yes, there will have ADA viewing platforms available at both street and park venues in the spectator areas. Please check with the Guest Services tent in the venue for more information on-site or follow signs to the designated areas. ADA viewing is plus-one only.

What will be taking place at Dew Tour?

Men’s and Women’s Park, Street, and Adaptive competitions will be taking place throughout the day. In addition the Dew Tour Experience (DTE) is where our partners and brands will offer free giveaways and more! The Lauridsen Skatepark will be partially open for the public to skate. Helmets are required at all times. Check the App or for event schedule.

Can I bring my skateboard?

Yes! But please be respectful of other guests. There are designated skating areas for the public
and those are the only specific zones for skating. Please do not ride your skateboard aggressively in DTE or
in the spectator viewing areas. If security or venue staff asks you to walk your board, please comply.

Can I bring my scooter, bike, hover boards or any other wheeled apparatus?

Due to the confined space of the event, only skateboards are allowed inside the gates. We will have bike valet available at 2nd Ave and Crocker Street.

Are there any health and safety protocols?

Security checkpoints are located at venue entrances and exits. All bags entering the venue will be subject to search.
If you are feeling sick, running a fever, or have been exposed to COVID-19, please stay at home until you are healthy.
