Day One of Dew Tour Copper 2020 features men’s ski slopestyle qualifier—a field size of 16 athletes—judging is based on overall impressing, taking the best one out of two runs. The top nine form the qualifier and 2018’s winner, Evan McEachran, will move onto Sunday’s final.

Following the men’s ski slopestyle qualifier is the women’s ski Modified Superpipe finals presented by Toyota. The final will have a field size of eight athletes, judging is based on overall impression, taking the best one out of three runs.

Finishing out the first day of competition is Dew Tour’s signature snowboard Team Challenge competition. New for 2020, the three competing brands—Burton, Oakley, and Volcom—were tasked with building a team roaster of six, one male and one female, to compete in each course section (slopestyle, Toyota modified superpipe, and streetstyle). The best of two runs from male and female athlete scores are combined and will determine the section rank. Teams will earn points based on their ranking, which will be their final section points.

Team Challenge Section Points:

1st Place Section Ranking – 100 Points
2nd Place Section Ranking – 85 Points
3rd Place Section Rankings – 75 Points
