FUEL TV and DEW TOUR have struck a global distribution agreement that will see the entire 2021 WINTER DEW TOUR event from Copper Mountain, Colorado, air live on FUEL TV around the world, it was announced by Fernando Figueiredo, CEO of FUEL TV, and Courtney Gresik, VP and GM of DEW TOUR.
“As the global home of action sports, I believe it’s only natural that FUEL TV is a broadcast partner of the Winter Dew Tour”, said FUEL’s CEO Fernando Figueiredo. “In such a crucial time, when action sports are becoming an established part of the world mainstream sports arena, we feel the responsibility of conveying the true essence of these cultural and lifestyle-oriented activities.”
Winter Dew Tour will be held at Copper Mountain December 16-19 and will serve as a U.S. Ski & Snowboard Olympic qualifying event for men’s and women’s halfpipe and slopestyle snowboarding and freeskiing competitions. More than 200 athletes representing 17 different countries will compete in men’s and women’s ski and snowboard Superpipe Presented by Toyota, Slopestyle, Streetstyle, and Adaptive Snowboard Banked Slalom Presented by Toyota events. The men and women competing for the U.S. at Dew Tour will be vying for points to earn a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team for Beijing, China, February 4-22, 2022.
