Tom Asta turned pro in March 2011, when he made his debut in the Mystery video “Color Theory,” but before that he was just that kid with super long hair that was always spotted skating with Chris Cole. Still humble, Asta enjoys still enjoys skating with his friends back home in Langhorne, Pennsylvania but more often than not he can be found skating along side skateboarding’s finest in events like Battle at the Berrics, Street League and Dew Tour.
With laid back and lofty style, Asta is a technical genius on a skateboard but maintains an unsuspecting casual demeanor. In a single session Asta can be seen flipping in and out of manuals, handrails, and hubby ledges without busting a single bead of sweat from his characteristic big beanies. Though he may seem to keep it mellow, don’t sleep on Asta in a contest setting because his technical approach to skating spots can be lawless.
