Final Recap of Elizabethtown

Final Recap of Elizabethtown

Just wrapped up day two of the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour in Elizabethtown, KY. Seriously, the entire day was filled with some intense riding. To note, was Harley Clifford’s semi-finals flawless pass. He got technical, went huge, and stood his entire run. His insane semi-finals pass made finals interesting. Dean Smith made it to finals for the first time ever in the Pro Wakeboard Tour. Aaron Rathy and Phil Soven also passed on through to finals.

This was easily the most exciting Pro Men finals of the season. All the boys were in the tower, all eyes were on the water, and everyone was screaming for the finals riders. Dean’s first pass was solid, thinking he could have won if he stood up his second pass. Phil had all the support from the boys and needed it after his season. Even Rusty was stoked for Phil in the finals. Harley couldn’t put together a finals run similar to his semis but Rathy lined it up in the finals.

Turns out, it was the weekend for the Sovens. Both Bob and Phil ended up at the top of the podium in the Junior Pro Men and Pro Men division, respectively. Check the photos gallery now for the full recap. Finals run video will be up too, so check it.
