Over the weekend, the World Championships for street skateboarding took place in Rome, Italy, at the Foro Italico park. Skateboarders took the center stage surrounded by marble statues for an authentic historic Olympic look and feel. Over 100 international skateboarders dwindled to just the top eight on Sunday’s final and where only the top three winners would go straight into the 2021 Tokyo Games coming this July.

The Women’s World Championships Street final included Roos Zwersloot (NLD), Mariah Duran (USA), Funa Nakayama (JPN), Leticia Bufoni (BRZ), Pamela Rosa (BRZ), Rayssa Leal (BRZ), Momiji Nishiya (JPN), and Aori Nishimura (JPN). After two runs and five best trick attempts, Japan’s Aori Nishimura took first place with fellow teammate Momiji Nishiya in second place and Brazilian Rayssa Leal in third. Scroll down below to watch their top runs and best tricks contributing to their overall podium finish.
