In this episode of Head 2 Head, we looked back at two high scoring crooked grind from Pamela Rosa and Aori Nishimura from the women’s street final. This year’s Dew Tour competition utilized the two runs and five best trick attempts due to its Olympic sanction. This style of format lends itself to fierce competition strategy in the best trick section and Head 2 Head opportunities.

Aori Nishimura was the first to stomp a crooked grind down the Boost Mobile rail on her second-best trick attempt and received a 5.20. After seeing Aori’s score Pamela Rosa plays it smart and repeats and rolls away from the same crooked grind receiving the same 5.20 score. Which of the two high scoring crooked grind maneuvers do you like best? Let us know with a comment below.
