For the last 12-years Elena Hight has been trying to land on an Olympic podium. A pioneer in women’s halfpipe competition, Hight has been breaking ground since she landed the first competition 900 for a woman at the 2003 Breckenridge Grand Prix, at just 13. She then went on to become the youngest Olympian athlete at the 2006 Torino Games, and the first woman to land back-to-back 900s in competition in 2007. In 2014 she failed to qualify for the Sochi Games, leaving her emotionally devastated, causing her to question her path. This is the story of how she recovered and is coming back stronger than ever.
