Either, Or: Skateboarding’s Youth Picks Between the Bones Brigade and Alva Posse

Back in the 1980s, two crews dominated skateboarding’s culture. On one side, the Bones Brigade’s crew consisted of Lance Mountain, Mike McGill, Tony Hawk, Tommy Guerrero, Steve Caballero, and Rodney Mullen. Meanwhile, on the opposite side of the spectrum, there was the Alva Posse, with members including Tony Alva, Dave Duncan, Fred Smith, Steve Dread, Eddie Reategul, Bill Danforth, John Thomas, Craig Johnson, Chris Cook, Jim Murphy, John Gibson, and Jeff Hartsel. In this Either, Or video, we asked skateboarders Tristan Rennie, Jagger Eaton, CJ Collins, Alec Majerus, Cory Juneau, Heimana Reynolds, Bryce Wettstein, and Alex Sorgente which crew they would want to roll with.
