Tristan Funkhouser, a.k.a. T-Funk, grew up skating in the San Fernando Valley with a crazy little crew called Pedlow. If you are unfamiliar, you can ask T-Funk yourself, but essentially it is a catchall for his home park, skate crew and all things from where he grew up. Enough about his home crew, nowadays T-Funk can be found riding with the Baker Boys. That’s right, T-Funk has been cruising with the boys for years now and he has absolutely earned his place. In 2013, the boy dropped a full part for Baker and in order to pull it off another video was filmed in the making called 47 Slams. You guessed it, T-Funk became T-Pain during the making of his Baker part and he has the slams to prove it. Since then, though, he has continued to film and put out parts for The BerricsThe Skateboard Mag, TransWorld SKATEboarding’s Substance as well as others and they all rip. T-Funk also has experience in the contest world. Since he was just a baby he was entering CASL (California Amateur Contest League) contests and hitting up events all over California. Since the CASL days he has been seen skating Damn Am and Tampa Am events regularly. One time he accidentally broke a Gatorade cooler at Tampa Am, and even though he didn’t win that year he was well-remembered. Oh, and one more thing from T-Funk himself, “Pedlow Mafia. If you don’t know, now you know!”
