Markus Malin is a Finnish halfpipe snowboarder with a big arsenal of tricks and a big bag of wins to go with them. Having competed in the 2010 Winter Olympics, where he earned 11th place and winning a bronze medal at the 2008-09 World Cup, Malin is no stranger to the world of competitive snowboarding.
He is a cool and calm rider on the halfpipe and has landed on the podium at contests like X Games, the Burton Canadian Open and the Burton US Open.
Malin originally started skiing, but as a kid he switched to snowboarding and is surely glad he did. When he isn’t on a snowboard he can be found playing his guitar or listening to rock music.
