Kelly Clark has won the Dew Cup four times, most recently in 2014. She also holds the record for most U.S. Open halfpipe titles (8) and most Olympic snowboarding medals (3). She’s carved out her place in snowboard lore thanks to her progressive riding, which included becoming the first woman to land a 1080 in a halfpipe competition back in 2011.
Even though Clark is now starting to compete against riders who are half her age, she remains near the top of the sport thanks to the hard work she puts in both on and off the snow. Just last season, she finished No. 2 in the World Snowboard Tour rankings for women’s halfpipe, behind only Chloe Kim, and her amplitude still ranks among the best in the field.
The U.S. team has its first three members for PyeongChang 2018.
