In 2015, Jaxin Hoerter was named to U.S. Freeskiing’s rookie team for men’s halfpipe when he was just 15 years old, and he remains the squad’s youngest member. He possesses strong amplitude and has already landed a double cork 1260. While competing at the 2017 Junior World Championships in Switzerland, Hoerter placed fourth.

That he’s gotten this far at a young age shouldn’t come as a surprise — Hoerter is a native of Breckenridge and was on skis before his second birthday. Off the slopes, he’s also a proficient dirt bike rider.

Hoerter made his Dew Tour debut in 2015 and finished 13th.
