In her three trips to the Olympics, Hannah Teter won gold in 2006, took silver in 2010, and had a very respectable fourth-place finish in 2014. Now 30 years old, she is attempting to reach her fourth consecutive Olympic team.
Like many of the top women in halfpipe, amplitude has always been a hallmark of Teter’s runs. She also has technical tricks like the backside 900 at her disposal.
Teter has used her success to launch several charitable ventures, including a line of maple syrup that benefitted a village in Africa and a line of underwear to help fight the problem of childhood poverty.
