An all terrain ripper that came up from under the Burnside bridge, Cody Lockwood has a natural style earned from years of dedication to the board. By growing up on the burly walls built in and around the City of Sunshine, Cody connected with the building crew of Dreamland Skateparks around the age of 18. Not only does he help design and create amazing skateparks all around the country, he gets to be the first one to give them a test-rip. Cody skates for the northwest wood of Lifeblood skateboards alongside Kevin Kowalski and Mason Merlino, which makes for heavy sessions on the regular. In 2015 Cody took on and beat out not only his teammates but an international lineup at Ultrabowl 7 in Malmö, Sweden. In 2017 he took over the concrete at Tampa Pro, Cody won the PBR Pick of Destiny award, Jenkem Mag Best Trick and the overall for the Converse Concrete Jam. Cody also donated eight weeks of time to design and manage the build of Burnside Non’s newest addition build for the newest addition to Burnside, a double-sided doorway carve— an example of his creative mind on and off the skateboard.
