Dutch snowboarder Cheryl Maas has long been making a name for herself in the competition world. Maas got her start snowboarding start in 1993, she attended the 2006 Winter Olympics and finished 11th overall in halfpipe. She was the first woman to land a 900 in slopestyle and was named Snowboarder Magazine’s Female Rider of the Year in 2011.
Her no-nonsense attitude and dedication to the sport have her excelling beyond her competition. With consistent backside 360s and 720s and an aggressive backflip, there is nothing standing in her way to another victory.
