For a relative newcomer, this nineteen-year- old has racked up an incredible number of contest wins/placements, and even a couple of Guinness-book world records. Alessandro (Alex for short) Sorgente moves, shakes, and has what it takes to earn a spot in the annals of skateboarding. He’s not just good, he’s consistent, too. Of his many contest wins, he’s earned the rank of three-time World Champion in the Grom division of the Quiksilver Bowlriders contest (2005, 2007, and 2008), and the Grind for Life champion every year from 2007-2011. As one of the younger skaters riding the new wave of bowl skating, he’s setting new standards all the time.
