One of Team USA’s youngest halfpipe riders is generating some of its biggest amplitude. That’s the calling card of Tahoe local Toby Miller, a two-time silver medalist in halfpipe at the junior world championships.

Miller started snowboarding when he was 6, and by the age of 13, he was already landing double corks in the halfpipe. He began working with Bud Keene, the longtime former coach of Shaun White, at a young age and now often trains alongside White.

The beginning of the 2017/18 season featured one of Miller’s career-best results to-date: a sixth-place finish at Winter Games New Zealand. He has not previously competed at Dew Tour.
