Certainly one of the freshest faces in freeski, Oscar Wester is a phenomenal young skier rising from Stockholm, Sweden with skills that will not go unnoticed.

The 2013/2014 season marked the beginning of a breakout for this consistently smooth skier as he found himself topping results at events such as the Nine Knights and the Jon Olsson Invitational as well as becoming an ambassador for his sport and country riding at the Sochi Games.

Contest riding is only once facet of his game, and one that he has just recently found himself to have a knack for. However, video edits of skills can be traced back a bit further. If you are on the hunt for some clips definitely search for Oscar on the Interweb and you may find footage of him grinding his way through 6-kink rails in the streets and floating massive double corks in terrain parks. Though, if you were to ask Oscar about his progressive habits on his skis he would modestly side step the question as he doesn’t like to associate himself as one that is constantly pushing the boundaries.
