The Estonian teenager has been competitive skiing since 2010. From the first edit of a then-six-year-old Sildaru hitting boxes switch and throwing tweaked 180s to switch 720s as a 9-year-old to 450 spins onto rails at age 13, we’ve watched Sildaru grow up thanks to a well documented YouTube childhood. But while she has dominated the European competition scene, she was literally too small to compete in bigger competitions like the Olympics and XGames. Finally arriving on the big stage last season, she topped both the Dew Tour slopestyle and the X Games slopestyle podiums, stiff-arming a veteran field and asserting herself as a force that is just getting going. Now a double threat, Sildaru will compete in both the modified pipe and slopestyle competitions at this year’s Dew Tour.
