Part of a new generation of Chinese snowboarders, Jiayu Liu is carving her name into snowboarding history. With eight various FIS World Cup victories and titles to her name, stemming back to 2008, Liu has seen success in snowboarding and has been steadily on the rise to a promising future. Going into the 2010 Vancouver Games, Liu was expected to upset Kelly Clark for the win as the youngest serious competitor and the then FIS World Cup champion. However, Liu ended up finishing just off the podium in fourth. After earning the 2013 Park City Grand Prix title, Liu later competed in the 2014 Sochi Games earning second in the semifinal but finishing ninth in the event overall. Still, Liu is poised for further success, and, in 2015, Liu took all at Dew Tour to remind the world that she is still hungry to win.
