The younger of the snowboarding Ferguson brothers, Gabe started riding at age four while growing up in Bend, Oregon. On the competitive scene, he has been garnering attention since he was just 14 years old. That was when he earned his first X Games invite and placed sixth in halfpipe at the U.S. Open.

Known for riding with good style, Ferguson won the junior-level U.S. Revolution Tour title in 2015 and finished fifth at X Games in 2015. He has competed at Dew Tour several times, with a career-high finish of 12th place.
