Tom Schaar Makes Skateboard History, MegaRamp 1080

Skateboard history was made this week by 12-year-old Tom Schaar when he landed the first-ever 1080 on the 27-foot-tall MegaRamp quarterpipe found at Woodward West. Schaar has been skating for eight years and says that the 900 was the best accomplishment of his life, until this. The Malibu, California native teamed up with Red Bull to alter the ramp to make his 1080 possible. Keep a lookout for more Schaar to come!
