The iON Mountain Championships have been heating up Breckenridge, Colorado this week with big names and even bigger tricks. Shaun White getting serious amplitude at the Snowboard Superpipe Qualifier

Even with his impressive record, White will need to watch his back, as the competition is stacked with other competitive and aggressive riders. Danny Davis is back to competition after a two-year hiatus, he recognized the stacked list of riders and noted, “There’s a lot of kids that have the doubles but it doesn’t matter if you don’t go big. It’s all about amplitude and making things look good!”

Davis will sure bring amplitude to his run, but so will young phenom Ben Ferguson and the silent but deadly, Ayumu Hirano.  Japanese shred Hirano qualified sixth, but we can expect him to shake things up in the final.

The rider list is stacked, the talent is endless, and Men’s Snowboard Superpipe is an event to watch.  Catch the qualifier highlights and get pumped for the final today at 12 pm ET /  9 am PT n NBC, NBC Sports Network and at DewTour.com/live.
