Practice Goes Off at Breck

Early morning and under blue skies, athletes on the Winter Dew Tour got their first taste of slopestyle course and the freshly cut superpipe at the Totino’s Open in Breckenridge. Slopestyle practice saw riders getting a good feel for the course and the assortment of jumps, rails and wallrides. The overall consensus at the end of each riders run through the course was it was challenging but at the same time super fun. The same held for the riders getting their first runs in the pipe. Situated front and center at the bottom of Peak 8, the pipe riders turned it up a bit in practice as their practice ran straight into pipe qualifiers, the first of the event.
