Chas Guldemond Dialed in Snowboard Slope Semis
Chas Guldemond shook off the the early season nerves to start the weekend off right in Friday’s snowboard slopestyle Semi-Finals at the Dew Tour Nike Open. Guldemond’s run of nosepress tailside 270 out followed by a 50-50 into frontside lipside on the double rail feature, double backside rodeo, cab double cork 1260, frontside 180 on the wallride, switch back 180 off, finishing with a frontside 720 into a back double 1080, scored him a 90.33 on his first run.
He didn’t even need his second run to win and Guldemond closed semis with a stylish method on his victory lap. Mikkel Bang, 87.83, and Gjermund Braaten, 87.67, took the second and third spots respectively.
The top nine advance to Sunday’s finals to take on Dew Cup champ Torstein Horgmo, Mark McMorris, and Eric Willet.
