Orlando, Fla. – Action-sports fans can catch all the high-flying, rail-sliding water-sports action of professional wakeboarding from the comfort of their home, as FUEL TV is set to air the first event of the 2008 King of Wake series, the Air Nautique Wake Games, presented by Rockstar Energy Drink. The unique team formatted pro-am event will premier on Monday, June 16 at 8:00 pm Eastern Time (5:00 pm Pacific Time), and will re-air 11 more times throughout June and July.

The Air Nautique Wake Games features the top 10 professional riders in the world serving as team captains. Each captain will draft a 10-person crew with a mix of male and female, pro and amateur riders. Team members not only go for the win in their respective division, they also contribute points to a team score.

Tune in to see the world’s best riders battle it out on the water and see which crew will take home the 2008 Air Nautique Wake Games team title and prize money.

The King of Wake brings together the sport’s top events and series in one ultimate season-long points chase, including the five stops on the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour, the Air Nautique Wake Games, the Tigé Pro-Am Wakeboard Championships, the Air Nautique WWA National Championships, presented by Rockstar Energy Drink and the Rockstar Energy Drink WWA Wakeboard World Championships, presented by Supra.

This summer, FUEL TV brings you the most unbelievable action to come from lakes since Loch Ness. Starting in July, you can catch wakeboarding and wakeskating’s mega-monsters attack the still waters worldwide.
