This year, from June 28 – July 1, Dew Tour’s back in Long Beach with all-new courses and challenges for the world’s top athletes.

This time around the street course is designed in a triangle formation, to keep things action-packed. A mixture of gaps, rails, manuals and more will be the fertile ground for some of the most technical skateboarding in the world.

The Breakdown:

STREET COURSE OVERVIEW

  • SIZE: 40’10” x 107’1” x 128’4”
  • QUARTERPIPES: 14’ & 15’6” wide
  • HIP: 14’

The first section is the RAILS SECTION, and it’s carefully designed to produce the most hairball moves that make tightrope-walking look like a walk in the park. Any rail combo you can imagine—down rails, up rails, bump rails, and kinkers—it’s all gonna go down at the Dew Tour!

The TECH SECTION is a combination obstacle packed with everything the top skaters will need: Box, A-Frame with ledges, and a long Pyramid with a ledge and rail that spans the entire piece. It also includes a long ledge for holding tricks, and manual pad for getting two-wheeled. And to top it all off, a 36-foot-long flat bar, for when you need to really go the distance.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Dew Tour without the GAPS SECTION. This is where all the heavy moves go down. There’s the Euro Gap, the Double Set, the Bump-to-Flat, the Bump-to-Bump Gap, and the Gap over Boost Bar—look for this to come into play during the Boost Mobile Switch Jam. Up, down’, bug, small—there are gaps of every conceivable size and direction on this course, so

Of course, if you’re looking for speed, style, and big air, you’ll want to check out the PARK COURSE. This all-new course combines all the Dew Tour classics with a few new twists and turns to keep things exciting for the skaters, and for the fans—look for the Stanley Bank Ramp, the Marseille Hip, the deep end—and shallow pocket—fully stocked with pool coping, and more!
