Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) is excited to announce that their Love Your Peaks presented by MTN DEW will be heading to Copper Mountain for Dew Tour on February 24th-26th. B4BC’s Love Your Peaks is a winter fundraising event in support of breast cancer awareness and prevention. The Love Your Peaks event series encourages participants to get outside to support B4BC’s mission of a healthy and active lifestyle as the best means of preventing breast cancer.
B4BC’s educational outreach booth will be located in the Dew Tour Experience Friday through Sunday, teaching how to perform self-breast exams and reinforcing the importance of early detection and prevention. Weekend activities will include a Pink Poker Run, tribute rides, raffles, auctions, giveaways, and more.

Friday, February 24th:
B4BC Co-Founders and Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame 2023 Inductees Tina Basich and Shannon Dunn will join Beyond the Boundaries (BT Bounds) at 1:00 p.m. for a group ride. Riders will meet at the BT Bounds booth. Following the ride, participants are invited to a meet and greet with the Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame inductees. B4BC will host an auction and raffle in their booth daily from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
B4BC congratulates co-founders Tina Basich and Shannon Dunn on their historic induction into the Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame as the first female snowboarders to be inducted. More info on their induction here.
Saturday, February 25th:
B4BC’s all-ages and abilities Love Your Peaks Pink Poker Run will run from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at five stops around the resort, and winners will be announced at the B4BC booth at 1:30 p.m. The Tribute Ride starting at 2 p.m., will be with Mountain Dew athletes, ending in a group photo at the top of the American Eagle Lift at 2:30 p.m. B4BC will also be hosting a giveaway on their Instagram (@b4bc) for a cooler signed by Red Gerard, Sean Malto, Danny Davis, and other Dew Tour athletes.
On-site registration for the Pink Poker Run will be at the B4BC booth. Registration is a minimum donation of $25 per person, but additional fundraising is encouraged. B4BC’s collective fundraising goal is $10,000.
The Pink Poker Run is an all-ages and abilities fun and interactive way to explore the mountain and support breast cancer awareness and prevention. Top fundraisers will win sweet prizes, be sure to register here. Participants visit various checkpoints around the mountain to collect pink playing cards. The people with the three best poker hands at the end of the run will win prizes from B4BC and their partners. Participants are encouraged to wear their best pink costume as “bonus cards” and will be awarded for the best pink spirit and attitude.
Sunday, February 26th:
B4BC will announce the winner of the Mountain Dew and Yeti cooler giveaway at 3 p.m. on Instagram.
