When Amy Purdy‘s life changed, love kept her going. Only six months after losing both legs below the knee, Purdy was back on the mountain riding her snowboard. Without anyone to guide her, Purdy proved that her reality was hers to control. Despite doctor notions of never again walking and definitely never snowboarding, she crafted two unique prosthetic feet that helped her to snowboard once again.
