Alli After Dark Kicks Off In Mount Snow
By: Kelli Redes – We’re back in beautiful Vermont, and as usual we have ice, wind, and sub arctic temps. But that didn’t stop Freeskier Magazine and Coors Lite from heating up the night with a kickoff party to loosen everyone up at the Silo Bar and Restaurant at Mount Snow. The highlight of the night would be the crowds dancing along to “Build me Up Buttercup” and the entertaining antics of Superpipe skier Dan Marion. As the night wore on, and all of tomorrow’s competitors headed home to refuel, some of us were not quite ready to end the night.
We moved the “after” “afterparty” over to the Matterhorn Inn, and continued the night with the drink of choice, “A Sex on the Beach with a Kick.” Vermont is surely not lacking in strange things, from interesting people to absurd drink names. Byron Wells took the night into his hands and decided to golden brown some marshmallows in the fireplace for Sage Kotsenburg Joss Christensen and Erik Hughes. As for the rest of the night, you know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, so let’s just let the pictures do the talking.
