Mitchie Brusco Top Qualifier in Skate Vert

Facing the heat of competition and the midday sun, the skate vert qualifiers went off today in Ocean City. In a field full of top names, youth won over experience and it was 14-year-old Mitchie Brusco, who took the top seed with a run score of 81.25. He started things off with a 540 off the roll-in, 720 and fakie to fakie 5, and Mitchie will take the fourth slot in Friday’s Skate Vert Semifinals, overlooking the beach at 5:30pm to compete against Bucky Lasek, Andy MacDonald and more.
