Sarka Pancochova Wins Women’s Snowboard Slope Semis

A field of 15 women competed on the snowboard slopestyle course during Friday’s Winter Dew Tour, looking for a spot among the top five that advance to Sunday’s Final. Czech rider Sarka Pancochova started off the first semifinal action of the weekend right with a win in women’s snowboard slope semifinals. Pancochova’s run of half cab boardslide to 50 50, 50 50 to front boardslide into a 50 50 indy off the cannon box, capped with a frontside 360 and stylish backside 360 indy grab poked to perfection, impressed judges for a score of 87.33.  Enni Rukajarvi (86.00) and Julianne Brackett (83.67) finished second and third respectively.  The top five will meet up with Spencer O’Brien in the Toyota Championships final. O’Brien holds the overall season lead and advances straight to finals.
